Samuel Shute ran the Bath Half Marathon for the first time in 2025:
There is a history of dementia on my Dad's side of the family, with dementia affecting several members of my family over the years. So the chance to raise money for ReMind UK to fight dementia by running for them was an obvious choice for me to help support the charity's great work and to make family members proud."

Set your own challenge
Are you a cyclist or a trekker? Could you challenge yourself to give up chocolate or alcohol, or walk 5k a day for a month? Taking on a personal challenge is a great way to support ReMind UK, and knowing your efforts are raising vital funds can be very motivating when it all feels a bit uphill!
