If you have experience of living with dementia or caring for someone with a memory condition we welcome you to join our Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP). ReMind UK are committed to ensuring those with lived experience are at the centre of all we do. Our LEAP are a list of people who we can call up on to ask for their input and opinions. We will mostly be communicating with you online a few times a year, either through sending emails or asking you if you’d like to attend a virtual meeting. There may also be an invite to meet in-person every now and then for those who live locally and can make it.
Members might:
- Give their opinion about new activities and events we might offer to those with a diagnosis or caring for someone with dementia
- Give feedback on our communications or website
- Have a say on what goes in our advice guide, leaflets and packs
To express your interest in becoming a member of the panel fill out our online form, or contact us to find out more.
