Trustee opportunity - ReMind UK

Role purpose:
ReMind UK is a Bath‑based dementia charity conducting leading academic and commercial research, delivering the NHS Memory Service for BaNES and providing a range of post‑diagnosis support services. We are seeking new trustees with commercial, financial or business leadership experience to strengthen our Board.
This is an opportunity to support a growing organisation with around 1 million annual turnover, a dynamic senior management team, and a unique blend of NHS service delivery, research activity and wider support services. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with backgrounds in:
- Finance, accounting or audit
- Commercial strategy or business development
- Contracting, commissioning or commercial finance
- Charity governance or risk management
Commitment:
- Four Board meetings per year (1.5 hours each)
- Mostly via Microsoft Teams
- Occasional strategy sessions arranged around trustee availability

Post Diagnosis Support Facilitator
- The ReMind UK Centre, Bath, BA1 3NG (hybrid)
- 3 years fixed term
- Flexible (between 7.5-22.5 hrs pw)
Role purpose:
This is a three-year National Lottery funded role which will support ReMind’s post diagnosis support team to deliver and further develop a programme of interventions and resources for those diagnosed with dementia, their carers and families in communities in BA2, BA3 and BS31. This role is key to supporting delivery of a suite of annual activities including courses, events, information days and peer support sessions. The post holder will work with the Head of Engagement, Programme Manager and wider project team to contribute towards planning and to deliver support interventions as well as supporting local partnership working, ensuring take-up of interventions and an excellent beneficiary experience.
