Supporting a loved one with dementia can feel overwhelming, especially while balancing family life and other responsibilities. That’s why ReMind UK’s wellbeing programmes are making such a meaningful difference for people living with dementia and their families across the region. (The Bath and Wiltshire Parent)
Our 10-week “Chat, Make & Move” wellbeing programme offers a supportive space for people living with a memory condition or dementia to socialise, engage in gentle movement, learn new creative skills, and connect with others facing similar challenges. Sessions combine activities like craft, music, expert guest talks, and light physical activity, designed not just to stimulate the mind, but to nurture confidence and meaningful connections.
These programmes are open to everyone with a mild-to-moderate memory condition, whether newly diagnosed or further along in their journey, and friends or loved ones are also welcome to join. Participants often tell us how much they value the companionship, the chance to try new things, and the boost to their wellbeing that comes from taking part.
ReMind UK continues to offer these enriching activities throughout 2026 across Bath, Keynsham, and Midsomer Norton, helping people living with dementia rediscover creativity, build friendships, and enhance their quality of life.

Patricia Dwyer from Saltford shared her experience of joining a Chat, Make and Move wellbeing programme: “I was diagnosed with dementia about a year ago. ReMind UK’s wellbeing sessions have helped me a lot and I really look forward to them each week. The sessions are friendly, we learn a lot and I really appreciate the mental stimulation. Everyone’s really kind and helpful, we can just be ourselves and it makes me feel positive.”
We are excited to launch our 2026 programme of post diagnosis support activities for people living with early-stage dementia.
